Cookie policy
1. Scope and controller
This policy covers cookies, browser storage and similar technologies on fgwallet.io. The controller is AEER Platform Inc, 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States. Contact: ceo@fg.app. This policy concerns the website; it does not change how private keys are stored in the self-custody wallet.
2. Your choice
Analytics and advertising are off until you choose. Accept all, reject optional services or choose each purpose separately. Browsing, scrolling and closing settings do not grant consent. This choice is offered to all visitors, including those in the EU/EEA. Strictly necessary storage is exempt from cookie consent where applicable; analytics and advertising storage and tracking rely on your consent. Website delivery and security may still involve processing connection data.
3. Storage used on this site
NEXT_LOCALE — first-party session cookie for language selection.
fg_cookie_consent — first-party localStorage record containing category choices, policy version, choice time and expiry; valid for 180 days and replaced on the next choice. An expired record is not used to authorize tracking.
_ga and _ga_* — Google Analytics identifiers and session information, only with analytics consent. We configure a 180-day cookie lifetime without automatic renewal.
_fbp and, where applicable, _fbc — Meta advertising identifiers and click attribution, only with advertising consent; typically up to 90 days, subject to provider/browser settings.
fgWidget* / fgVisitorId — assistant preferences and visitor identifier in localStorage, and session/conversation state in sessionStorage. The assistant loads independently of cookie choices. Persistent entries have no built-in expiry; cookie settings do not clear them. Session entries normally end when the tab closes. Browser controls can delete storage sooner.
4. Providers and information
With analytics consent, Google receives visit and device information; Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled in our analytics configuration. With advertising consent, Meta receives visits and download-link interactions from two FG Wallet pixels, including browser identifiers and connection information, for measurement and targeting. The assistant loads automatically from fg-platform.com, which receives connection information and, when you interact, your messages, submitted contact details or audio. Microphone access requires a separate browser permission. Do not share a recovery phrase or private key in chat. Provider-side retention is separate from browser-storage lifetime.
5. Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer. Rejection does not block the landing page or download links. Withdrawal stops future analytics and advertising collection, clears relevant storage accessible on this site and reloads the page when needed to stop loaded services. We cannot delete cookies belonging to another domain or erase data already received by a provider through this control. For data-rights requests contact ceo@fg.app or the provider. If browser storage is blocked, we may remember the choice only for the current page.
6. Transfers, rights and updates
Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. An international transfer needs its own applicable legal basis and safeguards; cookie consent alone does not replace these. See our Privacy Policy and the provider policies linked below for further information and rights. You may complain to your competent data protection authority. We date policy revisions and request a new choice when the consent version or purposes change. The consent record is stored in your browser; this mechanism does not create a separate server-side consent log.
